Mahotsav Inaugurated
Solapur Mahila mahotsav was inaugurated with the hands 11
prominent women from solapur. the yearly event has been a great
success as it is of the only one of its kind anywhere in
Maharashtra to promote women activities. This year the Mahotsav
is plaguing to have Shrimati India pageant. The Pageant is based
on not just the looks but on knowledge and contribution to
society.
Solapur: Christmas celebrated in solapur
Christmas was celebrated with shadows of Mumbai attack. Midnight
mass was held in various churches in solapur. The people were
saying that they prayed fro the wellbeing of India which is a
welcome note. Christmas this did have all the pomp and gaiety
but was celebrated simply.
